What is the Research Revealed Exhibition?

The Research Revealed Exhibition is a gallery of images showcasing research from trainees at the University of Toronto. The exhibit provides undergraduate students, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows the opportunity to showcase their research through the medium of visual arts.

Purpose

Research Revealed seeks to transform the way we experience research. Public display of visual arts offers a unique opportunity for individuals to engage with academic material through a creative lens. Research Revealed will bring trainees’ creations into the public sphere for the purpose of celebrating not only the academic achievements of trainees, but the university’s commitment to innovation and interdisciplinary conversation. Research Revealed explores alternative modes of knowledge creation and expression. Through artistic rendition, trainees may open new gateways for community engagement. No matter the field of study, art can be a powerful universal language — open to interpretation, conversation, and deeper contemplation.
